Alex Ross had been looking forward to Mardi Gras all year. He had heard that the parties in New Orleans were unlike anything he had ever experienced before.

As he made his way through the crowded streets, he couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. The vibrant colors and sounds of the festival seemed to pulsate all around him.

Finally, he reached his destination: a sprawling mansion on the outskirts of the city. As he approached the door, he was greeted by a man in a top hat and tails who handed him a puzzle.

"Solve this and you'll be allowed in," the man said with a sly smile.

Alex's competitive nature kicked in and he eagerly set to work on the puzzle. After a few minutes, he had it solved and was granted access to the party.

Inside, the mansion was filled with people dancing, laughing, and drinking. Alex made his way to the bar and ordered a scorpion snout, a local specialty that was said to have a powerful bite.

As the night wore on, Alex found himself getting more and more exhausted. He stumbled over to a cooler filled with ice-cold water and took a long drink. As he leaned against the wall to catch his breath, he noticed a group of people huddled in the corner.

Intrigued, he made his way over to see what was going on. As he got closer, he saw that they were shaking a small box. Suddenly, a tiny tiger popped out and began to dance on the table.

Alex was entranced by the performance and watched in amazement as the tiger moved to the beat of the music. As the night went on, he continued to dance and drink, completely losing track of time.

The next morning, he woke up in a strange ward with a pounding headache and no memory of how he had gotten there. All he could remember was the amazing night he had at the Mardi Gras party and the incredible tiger performance. It was a night he would never forget, even if he couldn't remember it.
