Swimming in the deep blue sea
Looking for a place of peace.
But the fish still swim with glee
Until everyone must cease.
As predators swim above and below
Everyone hides to keep safe.
Once they see the sun’s glow
Everything shall resume.
A never-ending cycle of fright
But there are moments of hope.
With a safe path in sight
Following the sun’s or the moon’s light.
If all known paths are blocked
And it seems that all hope is lost.
Those with a keen eye
A new path is unlocked.
And all are quick to fly
Risking the change and ignoring the cost.
In clear waters ever so blue
With the sun shining down.
Where happiness once more grew.
