People pass by

From where they are and where they go

She does not know

But they come for the words

The words that shoot from her mouth

Like fireworks in the dark

Beautiful yet powerful as they break free

Making the people see

How the world is

And how it could be

Exposing the deepest levels of the soul

Letting out the truth

Naked she feels on that stage

As she matches words to the music she plays

They pass by and say nothing at all

But she knows

They know
