We’re not from this place.

We’re not carbon-based,

But we bend time and space

With style.

Across the galaxy,

Baby, you and me.

Let’s travel hyperspace in style.

Come take a ride on my rocket ship.

Computers ain’t powered with no Pentium chip.

We’ll find a planet where we both can stay.

And watch out troubles Warp Speed away.

We may be an alien race,

But don’t judge with haste.

We came from outer space in style.

To infinity — baby, you and me.

Let’s go to outer space in style.

I wrote this wacky little song as the opening credits track for a tv show pilot I created called “Loft & Found”. The script found space aliens Hugh Manbeing and his second-in-command Scott Cassidy, search for love from their loft-style apartment in New York City.
