Our Senses
You and I have similar senses, some stronger than others.
We have similar senses.
Seeing, Hearing, Tasting, Smelling, Touching.
Some stronger than the other .
Through getting to know you, I've learned the following:
I've learned that you like to touch, the feelings of textures and surfaces. And that you notice smells immediately that sometimes you announce it out loud.
I, on the other hand, hear very well.
To every sound and word, you may not remember but I do, and I'll remind you.
And I could also say I have quite refined taste buds, complex to the 'T'.
One thing I believe we might share the same are the windows we see through.
"The eyes are the windows of the soul", they say.

Playlist of My Life
So before I go in and tell you about what songs I listened to religiously as a teen (and maybe occasionally still till this day), you must know that I've probably gone through teen angst at least 3 times. "How?" You ask. Well I'm technically the middle child amongst 6 sisters; 3 oldest, ME, and then my 2 younger sisters. So naturally as siblings we look up to one another and observe each other. Although we never fully understand what they were going through, their moods, looks/styles, and actions were very influential. So whatever songs we were listening to were played over and over until it soothed our angst souls. It was literally phases that we had to live through with each other and now I share them with you on how it impacted me.

Recently, I spoke with a family member who I struggled to catch up with for a longer timespan than I would’ve liked and what struck me was how societal templates filled in on successive days routinely suck our time into a vacuum of seemingly infernal deficiency.
