Original as new can be
Not the same ‘ol thing
With just a different ring
Made a fresh story
Out of the history
A ripe time
Improved rhyme
Not a setback
Nor off-track
A simple plan
For this man
Not old, not a repeat,
Original as new can be
A stupid mime
Spending my time
No knockoff
So just fuck off
Let it be
It’s just me
My right of fight
Or flight in this plight
So here I stand
A one-man band
Not old, not a repeat,
Original as new can be
That gullible skepticism
Stuck in a prism
My colors shine
Don’t know which
Is truly mine
Without a hitch
I’ll find the way
No need to believe
It all ends today
I sigh and heave
