To sail away into a blue world beyond our shores

There’s nothing left for me in this world

I have tried to save what I can

Nothing is left for me, but the childhood memories of that ocean blue

The wonder of a world beyond my own

Nothing but a desire to fade

To fade and to disappear into the unknown

* * *

We were broken from the stars

Separated from a world beyond our own

An ocean above our ocean

A sea of stars and worlds and everything more

Yet here we are

Trapped in its depths

The depths of the lives we live

Of studies, of work, of false images, and hollow stories

A camouflage to hide ourselves from those worlds before

We try and scramble to come back to those stars

Yet we are only provided a peek from the shallows of that ocean

In the emptiness of those lovely lonely nights
