Ode to Failure

Shadows deep where dreams do fade,

failure’s grasp, a bitter shade,

the heart, once bold, now quivers pale,

in echoes of a fateful tale.

A dashed ambition, once held high,

now meets the cold and unforgiving sky,

the road, once paved with hopeful lies,

now echoes silent, muted cries.
