Obscuring Of Light
Celestial Bodies
Excitement filled the air as they watched the sky and waited. Thousands gathered, wanting to be a part of such an exciting phenomenon.
Could this time really be the last of days? She and her friends scoffed at the notion.
Last time she watched the eclipse, she sat hand in hand with her mom. She watched as the excitement that crossed her mother's face change her, much like the shadows, moments before she passed.

She smiled as she watched the sky blend into nothingness. As the event ended, and everyone began to pack-up. Emily did not move. "Emily?!" Her friends cried as they shook her lifeless body. They noticed a strange light in her eyes that seemed to flash and disappear. In that moment they watched her shift, an obscuring of light from one celestial body into the passage of another.
