Not just mindless touching

By Ana MarynskaPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

I felt every inch of your skin grazing under my fingertips. Every curve of your bones, each relaxed and tense muscle within you. Every delicate, silky strand of hair, untwining between my fingers. Every rise on your shoulders due to the sun speckling your before untouched skin. It wasn’t just mindless touching. I wanted you to feel every iota of my concentration, attention, and compassion in the way I lay my hands on you.

And I won’t stop until I hear the time signature of your breathing change, ensuing your light snoring, knowing you were asleep in my arms for sure.
