My Africa, My Heart

In the cradle of humanity, where life’s first breath was drawn,
Lies a land of endless beauty, kissed by the morning dawn.
Africa, my heart, where my roots run deep and wide,
From the deserts to the savannas, to the rivers' flowing tide.

I feel your heartbeat in the drums, a rhythm strong and pure,
Echoing through the valleys, where ancient trees endure.
Your skies, a canvas painted with the hues of sunset gold,
Whisper tales of ancestors, their stories yet untold.

In the warmth of your embrace, I find a solace sweet,
The laughter of your children, the cadence of their feet.
Mountains rise majestic, touching heavens far and blue,
While oceans sing your lullaby, beneath the starlit view.

From the bustling city markets to the quiet village lanes,
Your spirit thrives resilient, in joys and in the pains.
The dance of life, so vibrant, in every step and song,
A testament of courage, where hearts forever belong.

Savannahs teem with life anew, from lion to gazelle,
Each creature tells a story, each tree a tale to tell.
The baobab stands steadfast, with roots that reach so deep,
A symbol of endurance, through drought and times of weep.

Oh Africa, my mother, where my heritage resides,
In every grain of sand and every river's tides.
Your voice, a melody that sings within my soul,
Guiding me through life, making me whole.

In the whispers of the wind, and the rustle of the leaves,
I hear your call, my Africa, and in my heart, it weaves.
A tapestry of memories, of love and of pride,
Of a land so rich in spirit, where my true self resides.

I carry you within me, no matter where I roam,
For Africa, my heart, you are my eternal home.
