Nighttime Is My Favorite Time
All I have to do is dream

I wish
I could translate
The peace
Engulfing me whole
When nighttime arrives
And silence strikes
And all my anxiety falls asleep
And I can pull the sheets of curiosity over me, inviting
Fantasy — ecstasy — pure bliss
Blissfully aware of being alive
And not just existing
Not fighting for anything
Not trying to discover a truth
Not rushing to get to a destination
Not scratching the same wound over and over
Not thinking — instead, feeling
Finally at one
With the frequency of the universe
And the cosmos is aligned with my sight
Slowly drifting… drifting away into a euphoric abyss.
