It was you.

That would plop into my car.

It was you

that always pushed me.

Pushed me to go further in life.

Pushed me to mature.

It was you.

That silently supported me.

It was you.

That would come and save me. When I made myself believe I had no one else to lean on.

It was you.

I could call or text and know id get an answer.

It was you.

I would confine in more than anyone else.

It was you.

That knew all my flaws.

It was you

that knew all my secrets.

It was you.

That has seen me in all of my darkest places.

It was you.

That could diffuse any stress or melancholy mood with humor.

It was you.

Time was always lost.

It was you.

That made silence comfortable.

It was you.

Made driving under street lights and eating shitty food in parking lots feel so nostalgic.

It was because of you,

That I always felt like I could be myself.

Be free...

Its you.

That I miss.
