Whaling at all hours of the day to attract a mate
Vibrating tails back and forth
Unlucky unicorns
Taken to an early end
Saved only in myth and legend
Relegated to extinction
Quetzalcoatl watches all as we
Pass through our days without care
Oscillating between grief and anger
Nothing sacred any more
Memories of murder and mayhem
Leading us to an early end
Killing all we have worked to build
Justifying it all with no thought of the future
Ignoring every call to be better
Holding fast to a dull gleaming past
Gone are thoughts of leaving a better world
For our children
Every creature now must pay for our inability to bury the ax
Decisions made by the few
Controlling all that we know and do
Beasts of labor is all they see us as
