Inspired by the song Somewhere Over the Rainbow
Blue as a bluebird still, I know, I’m fly
In silence, there’s an air about him
His heart of gold, bars on my consciousness
Let our troubles melt
away
my lemon drop
Our past colorful as a rainbow diffused
Raining in my scattered thoughts like raindrops
I mean reining in my scattered thoughts like raindrops
No rain no rainbow
Confidence arises
after tearstains
Like two of the happiest bluebirds, we’re floating
We’re golden like the afternoon, chasing overzealous dreams long overdue
Be my somewhere over the rainbow, would you?
