Scare? Me? You want me to take that leap of faith

And believe everything you say you mean?

Well, sure, let me just say

One thing I know for sure

I'm not afraid of anything

Except I'm afraid it's you I might adore; or adorn

With unending words of love. Your words, they hang in the air

And who's to say

You weren't playing games

you were simply playing a game; a card game of sorts

That somehow ended with a pair. your card, I did not suspect, so happened to be a King

On top of his deck. And there stood a Queen

Ready to deck

Anyone willing to walk the deck

And take that leap of faith

Til death they do part; Like the Queen of Hearts

She scoffed at her mark. Cupids arrow

Has hit the sparrow

The one who carries the letter

Across the oceans

To the better

Half of me. How high must I float

Before I begin to choke

In front of a crowd; a room filled with smoke? A lovers quarrel; last call for alcohol

In a crowded bar full of strangers and scenes

Of dancing persons and

Long lost dreams. A poem I'll write

To set the bar so high

A quarrel no more; arguing? No, sir. We will live to love and love we will give

On my little island, I gift

To you. Take heed and listen to my voice; these words I speak are true

I've found my hero, my soulmate, my fluke; my lover, my best friend.

I've finally found my Truth.
