The day you left, my heart shattered in pieces
I couldn't breathe, couldn't think, my mind freezes
The memories of us, once so sweet and bright
Now bring tears to my eyes, a never-ending plight

The nights are long and lonely, without your embrace
The warmth of your touch, now just an empty space
I wander through this life, lost and alone
Without your light, my world has turned to stone

The pictures on the walls, they haunt me so
Reminding me of a love that I used to know
I can hear your voice, your laughter in the halls
But now they echo, a silent reminder of it all

I try to move on, to find some peace
But every step I take, my heart just bleeds
For the love that we had, the life we planned
Is now just a memory, slipping through my hands

I know I must let go, and find a way to heal
But the pain is so deep, and the wounds won't seal
I'll hold onto your memory, with every breath I take
And pray that someday, the ache will finally break

Until then, I'll mourn the love we once knew
And hold onto the memories, that bring me back to you
For even in death, my love will never fade
And I'll carry you with me, until the end of my days.
