Mountain, Move!

Move mountain!- such a demand may seem impossible

can you move rocks billions of years old?

forged in the earth from fire and stone

move mountain! such a demanding act to bestow

defeat makes your shoulders sink to the floor

life is only easy when your fearless nature doesn’t show - then the mountain would not have to move

But what does a mountain mean to you

it is your fear telling you- this act is too bold for one human to uphold

then again-

does nature not provide from the sun’s demand?

does rain not fall from clouds up above

watering the plants born from the sun- on the earths demand?

and does your heart not pull at the finest of strings?

demanding action from you, action to even follow your dreams

that sets you on a path of obstacles that make you sink to your knees

because some obstacles appear to be

the biggest mountains you've ever seen

but have faith-

God has given you the power to think, speak, and act on your feet

to solve problems and set yourself free

from the tangled feet that society breeds

so, say-

move mountain! I demand it to be!

Life is too short to only be able to breathe.
