Taco Bell, Thai cuisine, the shade from Motel 6,
The leather hides of yesterday have brought us here to this-
Twins in name and tanned in spirit, broken out of bliss,
Brought together by happenstance, entwined in fortune's kiss
***
We toss our liabilities in a heap across the room,
Dropping reservations to the floor-
Smoking up the high noon air,
Forgetting to close the door.
We toss our sensibilities in a pile on the ground,
With a sultry scent of mystery-
Devilish and debonair,
You already know my history.
We toss our capabilities to the stage before a crowd,
With saliva on the laptop keys-
Racking up the lustful stares,
I wink and give a playful tease.
We toss our old hostilities in the passion we consume,
Begging for more hours to explore-
Tasting the cologne you wear,
Remembering what life is for.
***
Buddha hell, Vaseline, the smell of glass and piss,
O.B.M.D. chloroform, you warn and reminisce-
Textured eyes an inch apart, defeated lovers' kiss,
Twins in name and tanned in spirit, heavenly abyss.
