Moon Mother

A Poem

By Karen LaRuePublished 2 years ago 1 min read

Moon Mother

I come to you for wisdom

And you gaze back into my eyes silently

Moon Mother

I come to you for healing

And you gaze back into my eyes silently

Moon Mother

I come to you for peace

And you gaze back into my eyes silently

Moon Mother

I come to you for love

And you gaze back into my eyes silently

At first I thought you didn't hear my heart as it called out to you

But your gaze is so steady

When I stilled myself to listen

I heard your whisper

Earth Child

You come to me for wisdom

I see wisdom within you

Earth Child

You come to me for healing

I see healing within you

Earth Child

You come to me for peace

I see peace within you

Earth Child

You come to me for love

I see love within you

As you gaze at me in wonder

I gaze back down at you

We are in awe of each other
