Mind's True Nature

A Poem About You

By Samuel FowlerPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

Isn’t it nice to see the sun so bright,

As though it’s been shining upon us all night!

Yet we couldn’t see for our eyes were all shut,

Closed off from the world, turned off, offline!

Yet what if there were, a way to lighten up,

The sun that in actuality has never stopped shining!

How would we enter the arena of Truth?

The one that has the only real game!

No confetti nor competition,

No winners nor loses!

Just alone in the centre,

Our soul and its longing!

How do we access the brightness Inside,

The spectrum of colours that show us their pride!

Whom knows doesn’t tell for we have to come to see,

For ourselves as though it’s our own game!

Bounce the ball not once for the rainbow’s already here,

Throw it away we won’t be needing such tools!

Instead just sit down, take a look and you’ll see,

The rainbow’s inside, come here and you’ll see!

No longer lost in the fog of thick skies,

For the pot of Gold has never been far!

Instead it’s right here, the mind’s own True Nature,

Instead of roaming around, PHAT! Come see!
