Mercury!

What came up to your mind with that?

Did your mind say,

Mercury, Venus, Earth..

No, No, it's not that..

What I mean here,

is right on our Earth.

Mostly you should have seen it,

or certainly you should have heard it..

Why so Mercury?

I feel it as the queen,

of the metals..yes indeed in the periodic table,

and why so grand about that?

as there are lot more metals there,

Hey! It is the only liquid metal,

wait, liquid then how it is a metal?

That is what exactly it is,

there is no need to confuse with arguments,

as you have seen it in thermometers,

manometers, barometers,

and in many more,

if you are science lover...

you know how vital it is,

in measurements so precisely,

However you may have also heard,

it mustn't be touched or exposed to the air,

why why why??

Even though it is,

the queen as I think,

it impacts drastically,

right on our life..

even a simple amount of its vapor,

will choke if you go closer...

as it is a toxic,

heavy metal...

So how the competition joins into this?

Competition is a must,

for the evolution of anything,

and it also can be called,

as a queen among,

all the traits of us,

However, when it starts,

to expose too much,

when it starts to make the noise,

over humanity,

it starts to choke ourselves,

yes indeed entire blood cells inside us..

Wait ,before you're going to be afraid of it,

again I tell you,

competition is a must!

But it should be,

tamed inside a cage,

yes a strong cage of ethics..

like even a kid,

can use the benefits of Mercury,

when it's kept inside the thermometer,

and like even a grandma can,

get checked her blood-pressure,

using the power of mercury,

in the manometer..

and mind that,

Mercury is never kept,

without a sealed container!

So the competition should be loved,

it should be grown,

it should be taken part,

moreover it MUST BE TAMED!!!!
