I won't give up on us

No, please don’t go.

I didn’t mean to push you away.

Say it isn’t so

We still have another day.

I won’t let you leave

Without giving a fight.

Though there is no light

I just need you to believe.

There’s nothing I won’t do

To be here with you.

I’ve been so distant

That is my own fault.

Now your heart is like a vault

Sealed shut in an instant.

I promise you

I won’t leave you behind.

Stuck in this bind

For you, I’d dive in the ocean blue.

I know your heart’s in two

Though we may stay here.

There is nothing to fear

But away our hearts flew.

I’ve known

That you’ve been hurting

Inside your heart is blown

Into fragments skirting

In the wind.

Though life is cruel

Like a fire needs fuel.

We could start over

Baby, you’re my lucky clover.
