Loving you, not always easy to do
distant, self absorbed, and sometimes blue.
What can I do but stay the course or chew
my nails, my snacks, my chocolate or you.
Mature love, is the love for me, a clue
no trauma, no drama, no hiccup due.
All my love for you in a pot of stew.
New love is most often an easy treat
Hearts and flowers are forever sweet
Looking at you looking at me is neat
Most times it is never easy to beat
I love to look at you, and take a seat
And the steam doesn't come from summer heat
Never forget at times there can be sleet❤
