LOVE

A poem

I whisper about your grace

As I serenade your beauty

Your kisses are like velvet

A wild cascade of hair

Crowning your stature

Your ethereal voice

Is akin to the angels

You are an enigma

That can never be solved

You sit aloof

As if you are locked away

In a labyrinth

With a minotaur guarding you

I would travel

To the ends of the world for you

Facing any obstacle

Just to hear you

Say how much you love me

Come near, sit a spell, and listen to tales of old as I sit and rock by my fire. I'll serve you some cocoa and cookies as I tell you of the time long gone by when your Greats-greats once lived.

A sweet expression of love, a heart's desire and when opened, it's capability to speak. Beautiful dear.
