Love Tragedy

could it be that we are strangers

or passer byers on the street

in a tormented tragic story

where we will never meet

who would share a love that was so pure

it edged on the divine

that sends ripples through the universe

and transcended space and time

but for every good there must be a bad

a balance to be maintained

and the price to pay for a love like that

the world cannot afford to make

thus we remain strangers

fated to be apart

so that others may live their lives

in a world that’s not so dark
