It started sweet
A new puppy
Lots of treats
Belly rubby
Early rises
Lots of smiles
Enough tries
Pup had style
Soon my heart
Was not my own
Non start stop
Just give the dog a bone
Life was good
With my best friend
Until it wasn’t
I didn’t want the end
He’s not here anymore
But he’s my heart
My very core
So we are never apart.
I’ll see him again
Love is evermore
That’s my zen
Until then, memories galore
This poem is dedicated to my Louie: May 8, 2006 to January 28, 2021

Great tribute. Had my pup fir fourteen wonderful years. Still miss her.
I'm sooooo sorry for your loss 🥺 Gosh, his smile is so beautiful! He has my heart! I lost my dear cat, Susin on 13th November 2021. I hope he and Louie are good friends in Heaven! 🥰🥰🥰
So sorry for your loss. Louie was a cutie. You will see him again over the rainbow Bridge. I'm sure he is watching over you. Many hearts ❤️
