The firefly squid
lives in deep waters
where its bioluminescence
helps it communicate
and attract food.
Once a year,
it propels to the shore to spawn,
but the blue light it emits
attracts both mates
and fishermen.
So finding love
can also mean sure death.
Babe, we've got it good.
