Lost Love

Echoes of a Love Lost

In shadows cast by memories, I tread,

Through the corridors of love, now dead.

A heart once bound in tender grace,

Now echoes the emptiness, a vacant space.

Once, a symphony of laughter and song,

Now lingers the echo of what went wrong.

In the garden of love, where blossoms danced,

Petals now wither, love's last chance.

Eyes that once sparkled with affection's gleam,

Now reflect a broken, shattered dream.

Whispers of promises, like a fleeting dove,

Lost in the abyss, this tale of lost love.

The hands that held warmth, now touch the cold,

A story of love that time has told.

Fingers that intertwined in sweet embrace,

Now fumble in the void, an empty space.

Silent echoes of laughter, haunting and near,

Lost love's lament, a tale to hear.

The moon witnesses tears, the stars bear witness,

To the unraveling of a love once limitless.

A heart, once a canvas painted in hues,

Now draped in gray, love's final adieu.

Fading echoes of "forever" softly shove,

A heart left behind, entangled in lost love.
