Life is the sun contained dew drops on an early summer day.

Sprinkled across the earth,

In no particular way.

It’s the prism colored raindrops as they fall from a blue sky.

Untethered from the clouds that held them,

Free falling from up high.

Life is the frosted white tipped mountains that fill the landscape like they do.

That we yearn to climb to touch to feel,

To be a speck amidst the hue.

Life,

Is the magic so old and true,

born of me and you.

The magic of sharing laughter and pain;

Of watching shared dreams come true.

It,

Is the fluttering wings of our hearts.

That slows with each passing year.

Life,

Is the knowing, the feeling, the believing,

That we should persevere without fear.
