Life In Paradise

It was a fall evening when he met his love.

As she got out the car, he gazed upon her beauty and stared into her eyes only to find what God had created—his angel.

She approached him with a kindness and gentleness that he hadn’t felt in a long time.

The love and joy they embraced each other displayed the happiness that overtook their bodies.

In that very moment, he had to let her go just so he could talk to her about each other’s day while laughing and joking around with each other.

Stories about their lives and how they felt about different things were told.

Later on that day, he knew it was almost about that time for her to leave him; however, all along he kept contemplating in his mind that he didn’t want her to leave him.

At that time, he helped her with her things, and they walked closer to his living room door.

As she was walking slowly, he kind of stood still in place watching her pass by him.

They told each other how grateful they were to meet each other.

Then they hugged each other for a brief moment smiling and looking into each other’s eyes.

As he felt her slip away, he pulled her closer to him gripping her tighter, knowing that he didn’t want to let her go.

Then a few moments after, they parted ways, not knowing when they would see each other again.

As months passed by, his love for her grew to an even greater extent.

Not knowing how she felt, he consistently pursued her.

Eventually, she allowed him to be a part of her life as more than just a friend—her companion.

This became the happiest time of his life.

He discovered the feelings they had for each other were mutual; they both deeply wanted each other.

His feelings for her had not changed, even from the day they had met.

Furthermore, it seems now that every day that he’s with her, they share moments that he will never forget.

They started to reminisce on the first day he visited her home; it was a late, cool night.

He walked up to her door, knocked a few times, and then she answered with shocking yet amazed look on her face.

They talked outside for a while and spoke about their feelings for each other. While they were talking, he started to circle around her.

She looked as if she was nervous and asks him, “Why are you circling me?”

He answers her “You are my world, and I revolve around you.”

The smile on her face was priceless. Just the glow on her face made him feel amazing.

Even though she thought it was a pick-up line, to him that’s how he really felt.

Nothing could change or replace that feeling.

This was truly a love he had never felt before.

As time passed by, their love grew stronger through every obstacle and challenge that came their way.

Their love became paradise—a fairy tale that lovers would never want to forget.

She was his angel, his light through the heart of darkness, the lyrics to his song, the apple of his eye, and his potential wife.

He was so honored to have her in his life.

Every day he continues to tell her, “Listen to your heart, even if it tells you it’s no good from the start. You have to listen to your heart.”
