This poem describes the confusion I feel in regards to being a transgender lesbian.

What is it like,
To be a transgender woman,
Yet attracted to females?
I feel the same confusion now
As I did back then.
Realizing I was a female,
Felt like tearing myself to shreds.
Now I feel the same way,
With realizing I find women hot.
Throughout my whole life,
I’ve rarely dreamed,
Of dating men,
Having a boyfriend,
Being married to a husband.
Instead I frequently dreamed,
Of dating women,
While also being female.
This confusion I have,
Of being a lesbian transgender woman,
Will it go away?
Only time will tell.
