Lead Me / Follow Me

A dance in the ebb and flow of love

Blameless and gentle

As a resting lamb -

Spotless in the green hills.

The rolling streams of innocence

Collapsing carelessly,

Excessively.

Abundantly.

The movement of a dancing soul,

Open.

A recipient of the flood of gentle affections.

A casualty of the overwhelm -

Here, in eyes-meeting-eyes.

A victim of the tide of loveliness,

Whose lapping motions never cease.

A river; pure and white.

A love song that feels the same.

A journey down an unfamiliar road,

Known only by the intimate fragrance of a familiar presence,

Leading.

Felt only in the brush of a hand called goodness;

In the sanctuary of warmth and closeness,

Following.

To a well of infinite longing,

Fulfilling,

Longing,

Fulfilling.

Drink, drink, drinking,

Topped full to the brim,

And sinking.

Deep into the living waters, and rolling pastures of love.
