King is within

While Queens serve other beings

Lac Le Juene Sunset - Kamloops, BC (Kalina Bethany)

Grieving a life never lived,

but dreamed to believe

I was destined to be

a Queen built to serve

any male whom she pleased

that is not the case

with such a rare species as she

who serves a higher being

than a male human

simply worried about

Earthly pleasures

And other monetized things

What will this new life entail

if not loneliness and longing?

Only time will tell

is what she was first

born to believe;

Patience is King

This was very deep. I've always felt that a Queen doesn't need a King. Loved your poem!

Very nice K. k learned through a speeding ticket that patience is a virtue, as per the trooper who wrote me up. 👀👀, nice read 😊😊
