You cheated on my soul before my lips

had ever touched his skin. This careful tryst

is not about some urge I can't resist

for wanton need of orgasm or hips

that gyrate rhythmically together to

fulfill libidinous attraction. This

affair was never to compare to his

your kisses or anatomy. This new

desire was never for his penis. Sheer

release I found instead in making love

to all the parts you never had above

the neck: a truthful mouth and ears that hear.

You'll never love because such parts you lack.

It's only my affair which loves me back.

Before the 2020 outbreak, I was a gainfully productive food server. When the shutdown shut down, Uncle Sam didn't come through for me. So today, I'm just a guy doing his best to get by in an uncertain world.
