What does that look like?

Is it a constant cry for change

And acknowledgement of what’s true?

Or is it change in action

Change in systems that neglect what’s true

Justice would be wiping the slate clean

And saying “ we need to recreate this from scratch”

Justice would be changing the laws and those

That uphold it if need be and it need be

Justice would be to have decision makers that

Reflect you and me in positions of power

Justice would be to not turn a blind eye or

Become a voyeur of injustice

No! Be active in the cause

Justice is making sure everyone is treated fairly

Justice is not allowing hatred filled people

Power in the first place

Justice is what we want but it’s

Time for the real kind.
