To be immortalized by Michelangelo is not necessarily a good thing... for the significance of this panel of the Sistine Chapel: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biagio_da_Cesena

Judgment

Ultimately, we never make accurate judgments about each other, but rather are our judgments about how the other relates to the self.

These judgments are often inaccurate too, but exactly on account of them being judgments of the other’s character rather than utility.

This realization does not galvanize me.

This is good.

I do not want to follow through merely on account of enthusiasm.

I want to follow through on account of an intense and implacable resolve that inspires enthusiasm.

It is the will that orders the mind.

Discernment

Some things need to be heavy

While others need to be light.

Some things need to be sweet

While others need to be sour.

We must admit we are wrong

If we are ever going to be right.

We must acquiesce to truth

So strength overcomes power.

Divine and demiurge

The Divine welcomes seekers.

The demiurge demands worshippers.

The demiurge would have us believe that we are its creation; but Nothing is Ever, created or destroyed.

The Divine gives us the opportunity to endlessly reinvent ourselves or become an immortal soul, or to make no difference between these states.

The demiurge weaves illusions for the sake of maneuvering the unwary into a state of servitude.

The Divine does not need a temple to manifest. All existence is Its temple. It does not need us to gather in Its name, though It minds not if we do. All names are Its name, but no one name describes It.

We may, if we wish, play the games of power, but, win or lose, we will only grant the demiurge power to control our actions through the rules of the game.

The Divine loves and is loved. To love means naught more than to accept.

Are we acceptable?

We are always accepted, always loved by the Divine, for we are It and It is us; but if we seek an audience with the pure Divine, with the All-Or-No-Thing, we must first cultivate the strength to withstand Its glory.

We must be ready to bear the full blazing light of the sun by baring our hearts to Its searing heat. Thus is a so(u)l born.

Only then can we burn away the dross.

Only in the sacred space can we escape the machinations of power, for there the demiurge cannot go; and even on this terrestrial plane, if we but cultivate that strength, the demiurge will leave us be, for it knows that to murder us would only expedite our reunion with the Divine, and it hopes that we will once again choose to fall before the end of our days.

No one can wrest a soul from another.

The soul must be given away; and we will find that the soul freely given out of love will replenish itself endlessly whereas the soul given only in exchange for power will wither away to No-Thing, for it is not strong enough to walk unperturbed into the sun.
