Of all the harm I passed along the way,

I seem to always conquer the day.

It's just not my time yet!

Of all the relationships I've had in my life,

I seem to still not be someone's wife.

It's just not my time yet!

Of all the talents I've discovered about myself,

I seem to be always supporting someone else.

It's just not my time yet!

Of all the wonders I have about the world,

I seem to still be stuck in my dreamworld.

It's just not my time yet!

Of all the times I've dreamed about death,

I seem to always be awoken by God giving me my first breath.

It's just not my time yet!

Of all the can'ts I turned into cans,

I seem to always leave with empty hands.

It's just not my time yet!

Of all the times I've made someone smile,

I seem to find myself still waiting a while.

It's just not my time yet!

And of all the times I realized it wasn't my time yet,

I thanked God for that mindset.
