It's A Start

and beginnings matter

Patience is a virtue

that I don't have

not when it comes to waiting for you

I've got eyes on the rest of my life

I want to talk all-day

sharing my every thought

is how I show you matter to me

should I make that more obvious

no, I don't know much about you

but what I do know intrigues me

if it means I learn it all

I will listen to you forever

I know that you don't need me

but I want all of you

I know we are just beginning

I don't think I can be just friends

because I want to be with you at the end
