Introspective Thoughts on a weekend Night

Feel the mood

By RajiPublished 23 days ago 1 min read

On Sunday night, the sun sets slowly,

casting long, thin shadows.

The air is thin,

the world is growing motionless,

A moment for quiet, an inward moment.

The refrain of the previous week is now lost,

and temporal conceptions start to waver.

The mind wanders during peaceful times,

thinking about the day and the night.

The evening air whispering through the trees and among the branches.

They convey fantasies that transcend our

worries and stories from bygone eras.

We reflect on the routes we chose not to

travel and the hearts they broke.

However, now that we've learnt our lessons,

Every turn has left our spirit yearning.

The sky is full with stars,

each so brilliant that it tells a tale with its sparkle.

Of life experiences that arrived and vanished earlier,

Their echoes might be heard on far-off coasts.

The gentle radiance of the moon, like a silver thread, permeates our dreams.

Our concerns fade under the moon light.

And peace settles in like a little shower.

Our grace can be found in isolation.

A halt for a minute, a slowed pace.

To consider the peaks and valleys,

The growing life, the ebb and flow.

Our anxieties and hopes are intertwined within our hearts,

the place where dreams are nurtured.

We find happiness in the present moment and do

not analyze the how or why.

The world is still, the night is deep,

Our minds are like rivers; they never hurry.

They rise and fall, they mingle and flow,

We hear the cry in the silence.

Of former voices and near futures,

of spoken worries and quiet optimism.

We explore the hidden depths to discover

the meaning behind all of our thoughts.
