Into The Blue

Poem

I leave my senses as you leave my side.

Empty of romantic pretences when you are not my guide.

How do I navigate without the hold of your hand?

How do I stay alone and independently stand?

When I was lost I always looked to you.

I found comfort of the reability of what you do.

Now I am left to look into the blue.

Darkness was a thing I could easily face.

As long as I was wrapped inside your embrace.

I would never fear the unknown.

As long as affection towards me was shown.

The heat has begun to melt the glue.

Tangled in the strands, I lose what I knew.

I am forever separated from you.

Now I am turning into the blue.

When I need you, you're not there.

Together we would automatically dare.

Just to look into your eyes was all that was required.

Now the connection has been unwired.

Your presence guaranteed that I flew.

And I know you felt the same too.

But we have both gone into the blue.
