Our lives are like a tapestry
We meet and interact
Our connection is inconvenient
I have my life
You have yours
We resist
We rebel
We go our separate ways
All appears to be over
We grieve our attachment
As a loved one who has died
And believe that is the end of it all
We have merely taken a momentary detour
Neither of us is ever truly alone
Our fates are intertwined
We will always find each other again
In another place
Another time
Another life
This is our fate
We are one
Temporarily divided
Forever
Until it begins again
