infinite
a poem for when you feel filled to the brim with the love and light of life

i am so full;
full of love,
lust,
light.
i wonder,
worry
if i will ever
burst.
is there a limit
to how much love
one can give?
are hearts balloons?
expanding
until it is too much?
or do hearts resemble
the universe --
no edge, no limit.
infinite
love spills from my heart
splashing onto strangers, friends, lovers
it's overwhelming,
uncontainable,
infinite
it pours and pours
seeping into the hearts of those i love
hopefully
filling them
with the same
warm feeling of love
they selflessly give me
