Inevitability

New birth

I’m now confusing myself

over late fees from a cocoon prematurely entered.

Constraint cutting circulation gotta be uncomfortable,

yet still I remain.

Adjustments can be made whilst everything becomes hypoxic,

these shades of blue disharmonious with planetary existence.

“Your application for continuance is disallowed.”

Originally a statement from higher powers

in a language no longer taught/spoken/heard,

losing much in translation

as earth loses amniotic fluid

for waning births,

holding out hope that maybe

this one is the answer.

I didn’t know that nature handed out fines.

Karmic debts impacting development

as digital neon children blink off and on colored smiles

surrounded by oceans searching for lost luster

post decades of retching every hue of plastic from depths.

I now have no more questions.

A day of reckoning is not rescheduled,

a night of sojourn not forestalled.

A new earth claims right of breathing

with creation’s might, this force is called.
