The wars rage frenzied;

Throughout the city of unrest.

The land was barren.

We watched the embers as they ignited.

Like a blip into eternity;

Love was never found.

Hearts were in distress.

Lives were distraught.

Courage was an afterthought.

Survival came first.

Bodies remained left and unstirred;

People roamed the dirt undeterred.

Lives were given without any thought;

Souls were destroyed;

Or so we thought.

The city was alive;

At one point and time.

Now it's just dust,

Calling in ryhme.

We have a disease now, that carries us through.

We can be zombies now.

We can mask the pain.

We can let the whole world know now,

We are going insane.
