The focal point of this photorealistic image is a wooden cross, bathed in a soft light that creates a gentle halo effect. Before it a single candle burns steadily, its flame casting warm illumination. Surrounding the base of the cross and candle, an arrangement of fresh flowers and lush greenery spreads out, featuring roses and daisies in soft pinks and crisp whites. The nestles an open book beneath, its pages unseen. The backdrop is subdued, allowing the cross and its immediate companions to draw the eye, while the play of light and shadow adds depth to the composition.

When people hear your story,

They'll say you lost your fight.

But cancer didn't win, because

It never stole your light.

You stood, you smiled, you asked me

About my little man.

I never dreamed you'd really leave

Before he'd understand.

The sickness didn't take you,

Nor beat you in the end.

It's left with naught to hold now,

While you hold the Father's hand.

I saw it from the fringes,

Just a neighbor from next door,

But you're an inspiration,

A guiding light forevermore.

I never saw the ravages,

The weight loss, lack of hair.

Yet, I know you were beautiful,

You stood tall without despair.

The losses never owned you,

The nausea or the pain.

I remember your resilience,

The glow that never waned.

You left behind a handprint

On the hearts of those you knew.

We'll celebrate you always,

And always, we'll love you.
