If Women Ruled the World
If women ruled this fitful world
Two hundred nations, fists uncurled
Peace would arrive on every shore
What mother sends her young to war?
No culture would demean its girls
With patient hearts each nation ruled
Wisdom dispensed like precious jewels
Crises resolved, esprit de corps
If women ruled the world
Testosterone, aggressive words
Fists and insults men will hurl
It would behoove them to explore
The path they presently ignore
The earth’s own orbit would disturb
If women ruled this fitful world
