I hope you don't understand

Overfull and sinking

What I have seen I cannot unsee

-- Would not unsee, but damn...

So many ways for a heart to fill

Until it is overfull and sinking.

-

I hope you don't understand.

I hope you never understand.

I hope that even when you are old

This all still confuses you.

-

I'm just a guy, like Zaphod,

But with less pizzaz.

I'm just two brains arguing

About which of me is to blame.

-

I'm nonsense personified,

A bell that is always rung.

And I hope you never understand

A single word.
