I Had A Dream

Of dreams I wove in slumber's grasp,
A tapestry of thoughts so vast,
In twilight's realm, my mind did roam,
I'll share with you, my dreamy poem.

Beneath a sky of sapphire hue,
I chased a star, it brightly grew,
Through galaxies, we danced, so free,
In dreams, the universe belonged to me.

A meadow kissed by morning's light,
Where flowers bloomed in colors bright,
Their whispers told of secrets deep,
In dreamland's embrace, I fell asleep.

Innocence and wonder intertwined,
In every dream, a world designed,
By the artist of the midnight hour,
My dreams, a canvas of endless power.

But as the night began to wane,
Reality called, ending the reign,
Yet in my heart, those dreams will stay,
Until the night steals them away.

So here's my dream in verses spun,
A glimpse of worlds where I have run,
In sleep's sweet grasp, I found my home,
In this, my cherished dream poem.
