I saw you
Simply walking your dog
And that alone made me build
A house for you and I
How strange
Falling in love with strangers
Fantasizing about what it would be like
To uncover their story
Who they are and where they are going
I hope when you fall asleep
You dream of everything you can be
Because seeing you simple be
Was everything for me
I hope you enjoyed this poem I wrote while I was people watching one day. I love seeing people just effortlessly being themselves. Free, just having an ordinary day. It's beautiful after the last few years of being in this weird pandemic. The simplest things have become the bigger moments I cherish.
